Happy Valentine's Day 2012

Love these little Valentines!
This week, we have been enjoying some warmer weather...finally!  I was telling Zack today I am so ready for warmer weather and longer days.  Fortunately, Monday I was off and after some appointments I picked the children up from school early.  It was beautiful outside and so we came home and they opened their Valentine packages from Grandma and Grandaddy.  Here there are with their mail:

Dalton loved his Snoopy keychain and Anna thought the card was quite tasty!  Funny because when she got her card from us she did the exact same thing!
After opening the mail, we put Anna in the stroller and walked up to the neighborhood playground for some fun.  Doesn't little bit look like such a big girl in the Baby Jogger??
This next picture of Dalton make me smile.  He is just ALL BOY and I love it.  I don't ever want to forget all the funny things he does.  For instance, while on the playground he kept telling me it was a pirate ship.  He has a wonderful imagination and kept telling me all about all the other pirates on there playing with him.  Any time I asked him what they were doing, he always said they were either going to or coming from China. (???)  And all of his fellow pirates came to the ship from jail, or "jay-yel," as my little southern boy pronounces it.  I said to him, "Wow Dalton you sure know a lot of people from jail.  Have you ever been there?"  Luckily, he said no!  Who knows where he gets this stuff from??  It sure is funny to listen to though!
Here they are when we got home and were taking a rest break in the floor together.  Dalton refused to look at the camera because he was pretending (again!) that he was Daddy so he kept putting his hands over his face and telling me he was too worn out!  Haha!
Here are some pics from Valentine's night!  Yes, Dalton got a haircut yesterday, too!  He loved his SpongeBob card and his M&M candy dispenser.  We also got him the "real" version of Peter Pan.  Probably should have previewed it first as it's a little scary but he seems to love it!  This whole Disney vault thing is frustrating to me.  Evidently the animated Disney Peter Pan is locked in the vault and has been for 10 years and thus you cannot buy it anywhere.  A source of aggravation for moms of little pirate lovers!

And one more...just because! :)
Happy Valentine's everyone!

What we've been up to...

All puzzled out
Hello all!
Sorry I have been a little MIA lately.  One of those weeks!  (Or two of those weeks, technically speaking)  We have been having lots of fun lately between work/school.  Dalton has been VERY into...puzzles!  He absolutely loves doing them and I have to say I really think he's such a smart little boy.  He can do puzzle after puzzle with no help at all and without getting frustrated (like his mommy used to!  Ha!)  Here he is with 8 of them that he put together all by himself....these were all 24 piece puzzles, by the way...
2 weekends ago the boys went to the farm to hang out with Grandma and Grandaddy and had a blast like they always do :)  Mom came here to hang out with Anna and I and we also had a wonderful time shopping and lunching and doing other girly stuff.  Sunday evening, Zack's parents came by and we all had a wonderful time together.  Dalton and Anna love sitting on Grandma's lap!

Here is the little princess having some floor time....look what a big girl!  She is just rocking back and forth here but can't quite "scoot."  Almost though!  See her book below too...just like brother, she loves to read and be read to.

Sibling love
Here are a few pictures from today.   Here is little man with another puzzle.  This is funny to me because this picture was actually taken at about 6 am this morning.  Yep--our house was rocking and rolling from about 4:40 am on today....
Another thing-I can't tell you what a hard time I have had with this puzzle before.  The tires are very difficult to figure out.  But-the 4 year old got it all by himself!  Yay Dalton! :)
And...a few after dinner pics from tonight.  Look at little Anna Bananas.....she LOVES playing with her stand and play (or sit and play, for now) table!  By the way, this is after she had eaten TWO jars of baby food, carrots and green beans.  Yep-still loving to eat!

 And one more....
Sorry it's been so long-we will try to be better in the future!
