May Musings

Family photo op before Mommy and Daddy's date night :)
Life has been a little hectic around the Graham casa this month!  We kicked off the month with a girls only beach trip to Isle of Palms for Diane's bachelorette.  We had such a wonderful time celebrating Diane's last fling before the ring!  I would post some pics, but as we all know...what happens at the bachelorette weekend stays at the bachelorette weekend! :)
Here is a little picture of poor buddy's first bad facial accident.  We were loading up the stroller to go up to the neighborhood park and Dalton was playing with one of his monster trucks in the driveway when I heard a crash and a horrible scream...and sure enough, his truck had rolled out from under him and he fell flat on his face.  Bless his heart...it was bad but has quickly healed up...but with  a little scar that I sure hope will fade with the help of time and some Mederma that we are applying nightly!
"Hi everyone!"  Dalton says her eyes look like two little blueberries.  LOL!

Dalton, Anna, and their hero!

Here's the Graham garden full of veggie plants and herbs!  Yum yum!  Can't wait to have a fresh tomato sandwich this summer!

We have been doing lots of this lately...spreading out a big quilt in the yard and having playtime out there.  Today we even had a Memorial day picnic for lunch in the backyard!

Before church last weekend
One day last week I picked the children up from school early and took them to the library and for ice cream at Chick Fil A.  Dalton thought the library was absolutely amazing...it was so sweet.  He told me, "Mommy, thank you so much for all those books and my ice cream.  You're the best mommy ever!!"  Melt my heart!  I can't get enough of those sweet moments!

Finally, I will leave you with a little preview of our photo shoot for Anna's first birthday party invitations.  Good grief-I wonder if this is what I have to look forward to with a little girl?  DRAMA!  I bet you are laughing to yourself as you read this Mom...
This was all because she didn't like the feel of the grass on her skin, by the way.

Yay!  It's over!
Have a fabulous week everyone!
