10 Years...

Ten years ago, we said I do....
Ten years later...we celebrated with a wonderful weekend at the Biltmore Inn in Asheville!
Where do I even begin?  It hasn't been perfect but it hasn't been too far from it...
10 years....
2 children....
3 homes and 1 apartment....
3 college degrees....
2 states....
10 jobs....
And I would do it all again in a heartbeat!

Pardon our cheesy self-portraits...we seem to have a hard time asking others to take our pictures!

We've had more laughs than cries, and I remember once as a newlywed that someone told me that was a mark of a good marriage.  Well-so far, so good!  I look forward to the next ten years and the ten after that, too.  I can't imagine this crazy journey we call life with anyone else!

Trick or Treat!!

 Happy (belated) Halloween!  Here are some pics of us and our little monsters carving pumpkins...picked straight off the vine from Washington Farms!!  The big one is Dalton's and the little one is Anna's.

 Here we are before trick or treating on Halloween night!  This year, Dalton was SpiderMan and Anna was a sweet little cupcake! 

 We ended up trick or treating with our neighbors Brian, April, and their little "Hulk", Tucker.  He and Anna are 6 months apart in age (he's older--but she's taller!).  Here they are on Jenny's front porch.

 This picture cracks me up...right after I had told another neighbor that Anna couldn't have candy because she didn't eat chocolate, I leaned down and looked at her...and this is what I saw!!  She chewed through the wrapper of a Nestle Crunch and had it all over her face!

 Our master trick or treater!  He was a real pro this year...

 End of the night...she only made it through one cul-de-sac...too tired!

Last but not least...happy 36th birthday Zack!  Dalton and I made him this yummy carrot cake and guess who decorated it himself???  We love you Daddy and wish you a wonderful year ahead!
