Movie Time

I couldn't resist one more little post about movie time! Tonight when we got home it was freezing cold (where are you, spring?!?!) and windy, so we decided to have some movie time. This is them watching something that they both agree on (usually we have to alternate), the "Wowax," as Anna says. Better known to most as The Lorax. This is technically Dalton's movie (thanks Smathers family!) but Anna absolutely loves it, too! I love how they are both snuggling with their stuffed animals. I love to see them happy! And both at the same time is sometimes a rare feat!

One more....this weekend Zack and I had date night. We went to Kyma in Buckhead. It was SOO yummy!!! Our favorite dish was the Octopus appetizer...if you ever have the opportunity to partake in octopus don't pass it up! We loved it! We had the best night out...a great dinner and some wine, a bar to listen to a live band, then the perfect ending with after dinner drinks and Oreo cheesecake at Cafe Intermezzo! So fun! Go Cubs!

This spring, Dalton is playing...t-ball!!! He was so excited to sign up and is a proud member of the Collins Hill Cubs! They are a really awesome team and are so far 5/0. A lot of the boys are on their second or third season but there are also a couple who are playing for the first time like Dalton. They practice 2 nights a week and have a game once a week, which I at first thought was ridiculous but now (can't believe I'm actually saying this) I do understand why. He has gotten so much better even from the beginning of the season to now. I really hope he continues to enjoy baseball because we have really enjoyed going to the games a cheering him on!

Go Number 1!!!!

Couple of funny things...the other week before a game I said, "Dalton I'm going to scream 'Go Dalton!!!' when I see you at bat!" He looked at me very sheepishly and says, "Mommy please don't do that because you would embarrass me. Just say Go number 1." WOW--didn't expect to start embarrassing him this early on!!
Also...each week after games they have a little pow wow where one player gets the game ball (usually whoever had the most home runs) and one player gets a little hot wheels car (usually most improved, or best catch, etc). So, the other week, Coach David came up to Dalton after the post game awards and said, "Dalton you are really improving. I can tell you are practicing. Keep up the good work!" Dalton did not skip a beat, he immediately said, "Well then, why you didn't give me a prize??" LOL! It was so funny! We all got a kick out of it, including Coach David!

3 weekends ago we finally had some nice weather here. It went as soon as it came though and it's been rainy and cold ever since! :(
