Disney On Ice

First act: Cars
This past weekend amidst the unseasonable rain and cold Georgia temperatures, we finally left the house and went to Disney on Ice at the Gwinnett Arena.  After a full weekend inside we were all SO ready to get out of the house...if you know what I mean!  Anyway, we had SUCH a great time!  Zack and I both agreed that although the cost of events like that is pretty ridiculous, the memories we have from them as a family and the looks on the children's faces definitely make it all worth it.  They LOVED IT!  For a while, I was on the fence about whether to take Anna or not, thinking that maybe she would be too little to enjoy it.  Well, I'm so glad that I did-she was completely mesmerized!
Hi boys!

Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy...I think these were Anna's favorites!   Even on Monday after the show, she kept asking, "Where's Mickey Mouse?  Where's Minnie Mouse?"

Anna and Daddy.  She was so sweet and kept going back and forth between the two of us.

Tinkerbell

The whole gang
The whole second half was Toy Story 3, I didn't get any pictures but it was great.  We all definitely enjoyed it!
Me and my little kiddos
After what seems like 6 straight months of rain and cold (somewhat an exaggeration but not much!), we went outside tonight after dinner for playtime and popsicles!

Hi Dalton!...and Kip!

That's it for now!  I will be taking a leave of absence for a few weeks as we pack and prepare to move to our new home.  So bittersweet but ultimately I know it's the right move for our family.  Back soon with new pictures of our new home!

Happy 4th Birthday Sadie!

Happy happy birthday Sadie Smathers!!  I can't believe this little girl is 4 already.  My, how time flies!!

2 weeks ago we went to Charlotte for her princess birthday party!  We had such a great time celebrating the birthday girl.
LOVE this shot of all the princesses heading to the bouncy house!
Post party-Dalton, Anna, and Sadie tearing into all the presents!

My little helper!

Cheese!

Anna loved playing with all the princesses!  She is so girly!  She also loved wearing Sadie's high heel princess shoes around but she wouldn't be still long enough for me to get a picture of that...

Of course we had to get our picture made, too!

Anna riding Charlotte's butterfly.  She loved it!

The boys.  Don't they look excited!?!?  Also, check out Matt's shirt.  It says "I love Sadie"...love it!
First thing the next morning she helped herself to a princess crown and climbed on the butterfly ride.  Ha!
Thanks for having us guys!  Once again it was a great weekend!  Wish I had gotten more pictures....Saturday night we had an absolute blast!  After baths, the little girls stayed inside with the boys  (and ate half of our takeout I might add...), while Brooke and I and Dalton and Sadie went out on the golf course and walked and drank wine and played.  That is becoming quite a tradition and we sure enjoyed it....that is, until we were sitting in the middle of the green drinking and chatting with the kids and a golf ball landed 2 feet from us...WHOOPS!  Time to go kids!

Happy birthday Sadie!  We love you!
