Medieval times and a Boat Ride!

A couple of weekends ago, Zack's parents and Amanda and Colton came down for a visit and to see the new house.  Saturday night, the boys went out for some guy fun and went to Medieval Times.  They had an absolute blast!  Dalton was SOOO pumped up when they came home!  (The girls had fun too-eating Mexican and watching the Bachelorette on DVR :)

The next weekend, our dear friends the Smathers came for a visit!  We got a wild hair and decided to rent a pontoon boat and go our on the lake.  SOOO glad we did.  It was one of the most fun things I have ever done.  I can't believe that we live so close to the lake.  It was the best day!!

I can't believe I am posting this but it really captures one of the highlights of the day!  Brooke and Dalton and I jumping off into water that had to be over 10 feet deep!  It felt so good and I can't believe we got Dalton to jump with us!

Mill Creek Academy Pre-K Graduation

Congratulations Big Brother!!!
On May 15, Dalton graduated from pre-K.  I cannot believe how fast the year flew.  Seriously, it seems like just yesterday when I was doing the post about his first day.  I literally can't say enough about how wonderful this year was for him.  I believe he is very well prepared for kindergarten not only academically, but socially as well.  He has really blossomed this year.  I will forever be grateful to Mill Creek.  It was a really great school for him.  He learned a lot and made a lot of special friends along the way.

Mother's Day 2013

My precious angels-so proud to be their mommy!
We had a wonderful time this Mother's Day weekend!  It was a tad bit bittersweet, I'm even getting emotional now that I'm posting this because this was one of the last weekends in our old house.  We really enjoyed Mom and Edward coming for a visit.  Mom was a great help with lots of packing, but we also got to enjoy a little t-ball fun as well as an awesome lunch at Mykonos Greek Taverna on Sunday!  Yum!!
Whole family :)

Ed, Mom, and I.  We missed you Diane!!

Cubs T-Ball 2013

Anna and Mimi cheering on the Cubs!  Anytime we drove into the ball park she started yelling, "GOO Cubbies!!"
Hello...we're baaaack!  Sorry for the long break between postings, but as most of you know we have recently moved.  So prepare for overload as I get the blog all caught up!  Sometime in the near future I will post some pics of the new house as well.

So just before we moved, Dalton wrapped up his season with the Collins Hill Cubs.  I have to say, the timing worked out just perfectly.  He had his championship game the Saturday before we moved on Wednesday.  They made it all the way to championship and took second place for the league in a game that was really close.  I was so proud of my buddy and he came a long way during the season.  Most importantly, he had a great time and learned a lot about the game of baseball, too!
"Baseball ready" position!  So proud-this was something that we had to work on during the season!

Sweetest face ever!

LOVE this pic of the little guys in the dugout!

GO CUBS!
All in all, this was a wonderful experience for Dalton and for our family to be introduced to little league.  We look forward to finding a league near our new house and hopefully signing up for some fall ball!
