Springtime Fun

I love playing with all my toys!
We have been quite busy around here and enjoying the warmer weather!  This past weekend, we went to Charlotte to the Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate Colton's birthday.  I cannot believe he is 10 years old!  Seems like only yesterday when I was holding him in the hospital.  He is growing up to be a great kid.
Here's big girl enjoying a bottle courtesy of Grandma.  Look how big she looks!
Zack's parents were nice enough to rent a suite for us to all stay in at the Lodge.  Dalton and Colton got to share this little cabin area.  It was so neat!  They even had their own TV in there.  Sorry I don't have any pictures of the actual water park area.  I was in the water the whole time so I didn't even take my camera.  It was really awesome though and if you live in the area it's a great place for kids.  Dalton is so fearless though it almost scares me.  He was ready to do any and all of the slides by himself.  He had absolutely no fear and just laughed and smiled as he came down them.

Anna and Aunt Amanda....Anna is eating a cracker here!  :)

Dalton having a snack of pepperoni while lounging in his bunk bed and watching Nickelodeon.  He and Colton absolutely loved laying in their beds.  It was so cute!
We had a wonderful weekend....happy birthday Colton!
First "puffs" experience
Yes, you read that right.  Anna Bananas is eating puffs now!   We had an epiphany last night when we went to Cracker Barrel on our way home from Charlotte.  She is getting to be such a handful to take anywhere.  She will not stay in her car seat anymore so she has to sit up in a high chair.  Then she is reaching and grabbing for anything and everything.  So I decide to get her a saltine cracker to nibble on.  Big mistake.  She gagged on a big piece of it and ended up throwing up all over the high chair and floor.  It was not fun-scary and also made me feel like an idiot.  Especially since I have done this before.  So...I guess it's time to start packing our little container of puffs to take everywhere we go!  I can't believe we are to this stage already!  And yes...in case you were doubting...she LOVED them!  (Not surprising)
After I put little bit to bed tonight Dalton and I got busy coloring our Easter eggs for this year.  I absolutely love this tradition and so does he.  He had the best time doing it!

At the end of the day every day either when I am giving him his bath or when I am putting him to bed, I always ask, "What was your favorite thing you did today?"  I know an activity is a hit when that's what he picks.  So sure enough, tonight, without hesitation, he said, "Dying the Easter eggs!!"  I hope this is a tradition that we are able to continue together for many many years to come!
Have a wonderful week everyone!
