The first weekend in December, we went to Charlotte for our annual Smathers-Graham Christmas gathering!! We had a wonderful time as usual. We met them at Pike's downtown for some delicious lunch. Then we headed back to their house and the little girls went down for their naps. Brooke and I took advantage of this time to run out for coffee and to browse a few shops in Matthews. Fun!
Afterwards, we went back home and grabbed Dalton and Sadie for a Bethlehem walk through at their church. It was SO awesome. Truly a recreation of Bethlehem including a live nativity, camels, etc. They really enjoyed it and understood it, which was so nice to see.

Definitely the highlight of the trip was our tour of Shannamara Christmas lights. Brooke and I took the kids, a wagon, and our wine out and were just a block from her house when CeCe and Tara pulled up in their truck. They loaded us all up and took us all over the neighborhood looking at lights from the back of the truck. It was awesome!! Such a wonderful memory.
