Finally, our favorite season has arrived...popsicle season! We love eating popsicles outside on a sunny afternoon. And this particular weekend, that's just what we did! A fun spring day!
Later that evening, Dalton and I headed to the Haw Creek Elementary Mother/Son "March Madness" basketball event. SO FUN! Basketball drills, candy galore, and 2 game trucks were there to entertain us at this fun event. Aha! Game truck, you say? This is exactly what my response was when I was reading the agenda with some friends (who happen to have older boys) at work. They just laughed and laughed at me for not know what a game truck was. Well, my friends...now I know! A game truck is the back of a tractor trailer that has been decked out (including disco balls, plush seating, etc) and is lined with flat screens around the top for kids to play various different video games on. So between the sports, candy, and video games it was a fun evening!

The next weekend, Mom came (thanks Mom!!) and helped me and Katherine host a shower for my dear friend Rebekah who is expecting a baby (Baby Edward) in June. It was so fun and we had a wonderful event. I can't wait to hold little Edward!
